Inspired by the magic of the season, our Christmas Tree shines a light on the hopes and wishes of seriously ill children, celebrating compassion, creativity and Christmas spirit, and raising vital funds to support the charity’s life-changing mission.
Whether you’re travelling for the holidays, visiting must-see Christmas attractions, or enjoying the festive shopping & dining in the station, discover magical seasonal activities and stop by the best Christmas tree in London at St. Pancras International – where Christmas begins.

This year’s theme, “Powered by Dreams”, invites you to experience the boundless creativity of childhood imagination through a tree inspired by the golden age of music boxes and the station’s rich musical heritage. From astronauts to gymnasts to pilots, each detail celebrates the extraordinary potential within every child.
The 12-metre-tall 2025 Christmas Tree features immersive musical booths at its base, where enchanting dream windows reveal the journey of the magical wishes, accompanied by an interactive clockwork winder – the perfect spot for photos! Hand-decorated baubles spiral up the tree’s centre to an elegant, illuminated ballerina, gracefully spinning atop the tree as the children’s dreams are brought to life.
Take a moment to pause from the bustle of the season at the seating area beneath the tree. Enjoy three magical musical arrangements, activated by buttons with nearby braille, turning even the busiest moments into a time of calm reflection.
A joyful and accessible Christmas photo opportunity with braille signage, inviting you to capture festive memories with friends and family.
Watch as the illustrated dreams and wishes of the Great Ormond Street Hospital children travel through the magic of the tree and are transformed into radiant ornaments of hope.
Over 38 unique artworks have been lovingly recreated as hand-painted baubles, spiralling up the tree in a sparkling display that reflects the light, creativity, and joy these children bring to the world.
This year’s tree carries an important purpose, to raise funds and awareness for Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, which provides life-changing care for seriously ill children. A digital donation point is built into the base of the tree, making it easy for passers-by to contribute while they take in the magical atmosphere.
Gabi Field, Deputy Director of Public Fundraising at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity, said: “Every Christmas, staff at Great Ormond Street Hospital work around the clock to bring magical moments to children and families on the ward - from Christmas crafts and carol singing to present deliveries for each child on Christmas Eve. This year, we at Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity are delighted to be partnering with St. Pancras International to help bring some of this childhood magic to the station, all with creative input from seriously ill children at GOSH.
Across the ‘Powered by Dreams’ tree, commuters can spot heartfelt references to the hospital, including hand-decorated baubles made by children, braille to represent patients with sensory loss, and a ballerina, inspired by a real dancer who spreads joy across the wards at GOSH. There will also be opportunities to donate to help make Christmas feel like Christmas for the children whose treatment needs to continue over the festive season.”
The tree is located opposite Hatchard’s and L’Occitane in The Arcade on the ground floor of St. Pancras International station, which is situated next to Kings Cross station. Find the tree on our station map here.
The tree is up from Monday 3rd November 2025 to Friday 2nd January 2026.
The tree stands at 12-metres tall.
A digital donation point built into the base of the Christmas Tree makes it easy to donate whilst in St. Pancras International station, or you can find alternative ways to donate on the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity website here.
