Control Period 3: Final Determination of the Regulatory Settlement
HS1 Ltd is required, under the terms of the Concession Agreement with the Department for Transport, to develop clear plans for the required maintenance and renewals activities in Control Period 3 (CP3), April 2020 to March 2025. Continued investment in maintenance and renewals is required to ensure the future sustainability of High Speed 1 infrastructure.
We welcome the publication of today’s Final Determination from the Office of Road and Rail (ORR) and the acknowledgement of the increased renewals funding required for the railway over time. The Determination also broadly reflects all of HS1’s costs over the control period. We now look forward to delivering world-leading high-speed rail for customers across CP3.
